A Chicago man has been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of two workers at the city's popular Navy Pier tourist attraction, authorities said Saturday.

Raylon East, 36, of Chicago, was charged with two felony counts of first-degree murder and one felony count of unlawful use of a weapon in possession of a felon.

Felony charges have been filed against a man accused of fatally shooting two workers at Navy Pier on Tuesday. According to Chicago police, 36-year-old Raylon East, a South Shore resident, has been charged with two felony counts of first-degree murder and one felon count of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.

He was accused of fatally shooting two of his former co-workers Tuesday afternoon in the 600 block of East Grand Avenue, according to Chicago police. The incident occurred around 1:18 p.m., on the north side of Navy Pier near an administrative office in a loading dock area.

Raylon East, a 36-year-old South Shore resident, faces two counts of first-degree murder and one count of felony unlawful use of a weapon, police said.
