Mazda recalled nearly 81,000 vehicles because the defroster, seat belt warning, 306-degree view monitor and PHEV high-voltage battery cooling system did not function correctly when drivers started the cars. It all comes down to the Dash Electrical Supply Unit in some 2024-2025 CX-90 and 2025 CX-70 vehicles, the NHTSA said.

Mazda is recalling certain 2024–2025 CX-90 and 2025 CX-70 models due to several software-related issues. About 81K models have faulty dashboard electrical supply units and another 45K have software issues that could cause a loss of drive power. Mazda will cover all of these fixes under warranty and notify owners by the end of the year.
