The Red Sox will make a significant change to their uniform rotation in 2025, but the club's popular yellow City Connects will remain.

The Red Sox will retire their blue alternate jerseys and unveil a second City Connect uniform next year, the team’s chief marketing officer, Adam Grossman, told MassLive on Tuesday. That doesn’t mean the popular Boston Marathon-inspired yellow and blue jerseys will go away; Boston is keeping those as a core uniform offering moving forward.

The Boston Red Sox have one of the most iconic jerseys in baseball, as they don the home whites with "Red Sox" written across the chest. However, in recent years, they've been changing things up with blue and red alternates and the City Connect yellow and blue jerseys.
