El Paso's runoff for key seats in City Hall will be held in a few short weeks. Here's a rundown of what you need to know before going to the polls.

The El Paso City Council unanimously approved a motion on Tuesday, Nov. 12 to authorize the City manager and City attorney to conduct an analysis to identify safeguards that El Paso Electric can implement to help El Pasoans not fall behind on their electric bills.

To vote in Texas, a Voter Registration Application must be signed and mailed at least 30 days before every election.

The forum featuring Renard Johnson and Brian Kennedy will be Nov. 21. Early voting in the city runoff begins Dec. 2, and Dec. 14 is Election Day.

As was expected, only incumbent city Rep. Josh Acevedo was able to secure an election night victory. The other five races will be decided in a runoff.
