Morgan Stanley analysts downgraded Nestle (NSRGY) stock to Underweight as cocoa and chocolate prices continue to move higher. Colgate-Palmolive Company (CL) was also downgraded to Underweight by a team at Wells Fargo.

Shares of Colgate-Palmolive Co. CL shed 0.83% to $104.56 Tuesday, on what proved to be an all-around mixed trading session for the stock market, with the S&P 500 Index SPX rising 0.03% to 5,634.58 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA falling 0.04% to 41,606.18.

Colgate-Palmolive stock (NYSE: CL) has gained 40% in value since early January 2023 – jumping from levels of around $75 then to over $105 now – vs. an increase of about 45% for the S&P 500 over this period.

Ltd. traded 0.65 per cent down at Rs 3625.0 at 12:27PM (IST) on Wednesday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex gained 231.46 points to 83311.12. The stock had closed at Rs 3649.0 in the previous session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 3710.

The stock's rise snapped a five-day losing streak.
