It’s often said that variety is the spice of life. If you agree, you’ll be pretty happy about the new models joining the 2025 Porsche Taycan lineup. The automaker confirmed the new Taycan GTS and Taycan 4 EVs Tuesday morning, with the former being offered as a sedan and Sport Turismo wagon while the latter is offered only as a sedan.

The Porsche Taycan EV adds three trims to its lineup for the 2025 model year: an AWD Taycan 4 sedan and two flavors of the performance-oriented GTS, a standard sedan and a Sport Turismo wagon.

The Porsche Taycan, the battery-powered semi-supercar, debuted in 2019 as the company’s first all-electric production vehicle. From its appearance, the 2025 model doesn’t look that much different, but enough is new for Porsche to call it the second-generation Taycan.

With a sharper design, more power, more range and even better charging performance, Porsche extensively enhanced the Taycan at the beginning of 2024. Now three new variants expand the range: The new Taycan GTS builds on the model-spanning success story that is the Gran Turismo Sport at Porsche.

Having facelifted the Taycan line-up earlier this year, Porsche has now unveiled three new variants – the Taycan GTS sedan, Taycan GTS Sport Turismo and Taycan 4 sedan – thereby completing the lineup which now comprises 16 variants in total.
