Kentucky State Police believe the body found Wednesday in Laurel County where five people were injured in a shooting on Interstate 75, is of the suspected gunman Joseph Couch.

A manhunt is underway early Sunday as police searched for a gunman in a rural area of southeastern Kentucky who is believed to have shot and wounded five people near Interstate 75.

Police continue to search for a gunman who shot at motorists on Interstate 75 in southeastern Kentucky on Saturday afternoon, injuring at least seven people and hitting as many as a dozen vehicles.
