Schoen's bye week news conference was a no-win situation for the GM. Unfortunately, that made it a lot like the team he has assembled.

This came from general manager Joe Schoen, who during his midseason press conference on Tuesday summed up the current state of the 2-8 Giants with four words that will be chiseled onto his career tombstone if he doesn’t turn this team around soon.

The Giants management brass didn't say it in so many words, but it's clear that Daniel Jones's days as the starter appear to be over.
